Young people’s mental health cannot wait.
Following the news that youth suicide prevention charity PAPYRUS has entered administration, Spark UK is bringing together young people, charities, professionals and organisations to call for action.
Our open letter to the Prime Minister makes three asks:
1. Protect the services young people rely on
Ensure essential youth mental health and prevention services are protected when organisations providing them can no longer continue.
2. Fix the way youth mental health charities are funded
Create a more sustainable approach to funding, including greater access to multi-year core funding and sustainable commissioning.
3. Put young people and the sector at the heart of what comes next
Convene a national roundtable bringing together young people, charities, Government, the NHS, schools and professionals to shape the future of youth mental health.
If you support these calls, add your name to the open letter below.
